9 Skills to be taught to Kids along-with Studies



1. Self Defence: Today it is very important for kids, specially girls to learn self defence. We hear about so many incidences about child abuse.
If kids know self defence then they can defend themselves and become confident.

2. First Aid Skill: They should know which medicine is used for what. Kids must know which medicine to apply on cuts and burns so that they can treat themselves or others when needed.

3. Habit of working: Like they should have habit of doing their work themselves. Small duties must be assigned to kids, so that they don't get lazy and have habit of working like thay must pack their school bag themselves, they must manage their room after playing.

4. Habit of Cooking: Both Boy and Girls should have habit of cooking. They should know basics of cooking. The best way to do this is asking kids to help you while you are cooking. This makes them aware of little things by watching and maintains their interest.

5. Laundry: They should know how to wash small clothes. Both boys and girls should know how to wash their own clothes so that it they are alone out of home for studying or trip, they can manage themselves.

6. Travel in  Public Transport: In some families, parents are so much concerned about their kids that they never allow them to go alone in public transport. These things should also be taught so that if they are in then they can manage themselves.

7. Shopping: They should know how to purchase, bargain etc. They should know Expiry and Manufacturing date of product they have purchased.

8. Value Money: Kids must value money. They must know how important it is and how hard is to earn money.

9. Time Management: Kids should know he importance of time so that they utilize their time in work which they wish to do along with their studies.

First Indian Muslim Women Pilot - Syeda Salva Fatima

Syeda Salva Fatima looks like a normal Muslim girl, but She first Muslim Lady pilot in India with a commercial flying License. She has struggled hard to reach at this position. Fatima belongs to a backward area known are Sultan Shahi in Hyderabad. She grew up in poverty, her father was a Baker. Since childhood she wanted to become a Pilot. After completing 12th, She started attending coaching classes sponsored by Siasat daily for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).
